About us | Founded in 1996, the TAHOE HERITAGE FOUNDATION supports a variety of preservation, restoration and education projects and programs in the Lake Tahoe Basin. Tahoe Heritage Foundation formed a public/private partnership with the USDA Forest Service, Lake Tahoe Basin Management Unit to manage restoration projects and interpretive activities at the Pope and Baldwin Estates (two of three estates included in the Tallac Historic Site), adjacent to the southern shore of Lake Tahoe. |
